sigh...

Well, here we go again! My wife's grandmother, Sister Wilcox, has been feeling not so good for a couple of weeks. She had fallen recently and caught herself on the stair railing, but hurt herself under the arm. Maybe in the ribs. She finally got in enough pain today, and could hardly breathe that she let the family take her to the er. Good grief! We have got to get a hold of God around here for all these ailments. There has been so much sickness in the family and our church lately! God, please help us to learn to trust in you, and to see some healings once again!!
God has already done some great things for us in the past year, but I want our faith to grow stronger and to continue to see more and more of His healing power!
Anyway, other than all the sickness around here lately, I am pretty excited over all about what God is doing! We had a great General Assembly, maybe as good as I've been a part of in a number of years! Our church is certainly on fire in Winchester, even if we have yet to see the growth we're praying for.
I am praying about a revival in September. I have an evangelist in mind, but will pray a few more days before I call him. I want to make sure I am on the right track, so I'll pray it through a little bit more.
In other news...
We are searching for a church van. We want to get involved in the ministry of bringing kids, and others to church who cannot othewrwise get there. Please pray for us that that can happen.
Gotta run for now, but will blog more..hopefully soon;)

My sisters surgery...

went well. She is resting and should go home today. Thanks for your prayers. Please pray for my dad also. He just had heart cath and two new stints put in an artery. He called last night and is having heavy chest pains.

Pray for my sister

My sister Janna is at the hospital with appendicitis. We know there will be a surgery, but the small hospital in our town is trying to find one of the bigger hospital's in the area that has a surgeon available immediately. Please pray for her.
