Hey...
Feeling alright so far this morning. It seems anything I eat gets me pretty ill the last few days/weeks. I just had a small breakfast with my wife and the girls. That's the one perk of having a few days off work. I get to be with my girls. (btw, I nclude my wife when I say that.) I ate a bacon sandwich on wheat bread. We'll see if that gets me ill. I'm eating so much less and better stuff than usual. If I'm not sick within an hour, I'll be happy. I'm praying for God to come in and heal me of this so I can be done with it. Please help me pray.
This time off work is nice in some ways, but, man, in other ways it's driving me nuts! I am NOT the sit around kind of guy, at ALL!I'm on restrictions...no driving(until TOMORROW-YEAH!), no lifting, pulling, or pushing ANYTHING over ten pounds. That includes almost everything under Heaven. I haven't picked up my daughters in days. I just get on the floor and let them climb on me. That's pretty fun. I've been doing most of the cooking this week just to be able to do something. I love to cook, anyway. I'm searching all my cookbooks for some healthier stuff to eat. Better ways to cook foods I love. Last night we had a rotisserrie style chicken(Marsha did that), but I fixed some glazed carrots, green beans, and some oven roasted red skinned potatoes with some herbs(about a third of the oil/grease that would be involved the way I normally like to fry my taters). Good food. I figure I'm not just going to go nuts and suddenly be a health food nut or a vegan or something, but I can cut portions, lay off the pop, and learn less damaging ways to cook. The highlight of my short hospital stay was that I found out my heart is in ok shape. (Glory to God!) I'd be better off if I take measures now to keep it that way.
Well, I have written a book. I better go. Thanks for all the prayers...
God bless you all...

Brother Donnie - It sooooo sounds like gall bladder. I went 5 years with problems as extreme as feeling like I was having a heart attack before they diagnosed it. Then when they diagnosed it they also found out I was pregnant with Joleesa ~grin~ Fortunately it laid dormant during my whole pregnancy. 10 weeks after my having her c-section I had the worst attack ever within days they took it out. They stopped counting the gall stones after they reached 50. Basically they said it hadn't been working for over 5 years. An ultra sound is what found it for me.
I'm praying for you.
Thanks...
I'm supposed to have an ultrasound and upper GI on Monday. I'm going to convention this weekend with hopes set on a healing. Please continue praying.
God bless...
Brother Donnie
We'll keep on praying for you. Thank you for the updates. "Our God shall supply all your need," physical healiing included. Keep us posted.
My Father-In-Law just went through the very same thing. He was having "curl up in a ball, cry your eyes out, think I'm having a heart attack" pains! It took several heart tests and stuff before they checked, but sure enough. Gall Bladder! We never knew that it could mimic heart problems.
We are praying for you!
I am glad you are feeling SOMEwhat better. I will keep praying for you. I think its good you are trying to eat healthier, that is a big change and will contribute to you feeling better in the long run I am sure!I lost a lot of weight before the wedding and it was a whole liftstyle change. The hard part is keeping the lifestyle up, I would know...cus I didn't :( and now I am trying to get back on the healthy train :p
Bro. Donnie,
Praying, Praying, Praying. That's about all I can say.
Love you and your family,
Sis Mc
