Man the weather has been nice here today. We've been having an unbelievable amount of rain in KY for weeks. I guess it's been that way a lot of places. But the last couple of days have been really beautiful. Thank God for it. Although I generally like a little rain, especially when I'm working (keeps me cool), it has just been raing constantly. But God knows best.
We got the camper out and popped it up. It was the first time. We are thinking of taking it out maybe this weekend. There is a campground near her, at Fort Boonesborough State Park. There is a big carshow this weekend, so we may not be able to get a space, but there is a chance. Either way I plan to go look at the hot rods. I love old cars.
At any rate, there's not much to write about tonight. Plus I;m tired and have to get up early tomorrow. I'll try to be more interesting tomorrow night, I guess.
By the way, things are still going great at church. We're planning to have a revival around the second week of November. I called a good friend and asked him to come and be evangelist. I believe he is the right choice. I'll say who it is as soon as he gets back with me to confirm it. Our church is very, very excited and getting more and more excited for REVIVAL!! Hunger seems to be one of the biggest keys to revival. The people have to be hungry. Lord, help us to get hungry for REVIVAL!!
Another thing I'm excited about is an invitation I got to preach in a local Pentecostal church. I've attended one of their services a while back when one of our members was asked to sing during their revival with her sisters. Her landlord goes to church there. He asked her husband Sunday to tell me to let them know when I could come over and preach in their Saturday night service. He wants to know plenty ahead of time so they can get it into the newspaper and try to build up a good crowd. Very exciting!
Wel, I better get going...
God bless...

Your excitement and enthusiasm for the Lord and His Church are a blessing to me, Brother Donnie. May God bless you as you labor for Him!
It's hard for me to caontain my excitement here lately when I see what God is doing!
I just had a conversation with a family that I believe will soon be coming back into The Church of God.
I also know of another very exciting thing that I don't want to mantion just yet. God is doing some good things around here!
Thank you for the comment, and please pray for us. I'm chompin' at the bit waiting to hear back from the evangelist who I've asked to come. The tentative date for REVIVAL is November 18 - 22, so I need to get started advertising the thing. I've learned over the fews years of my experience that a pastor is never quite as happy as when his church is experiencing REVIvAL. We have begun to see and feel that old fashioned REVIVAL spirit here. One of our members was just sharing with me today how that our local church is experiencing such love and unity and God is blessing us in and out of our services so much and in so many ways. Very exciting...
God bless you...
Brother Donnie
Revival, revival, revival. We take them anytime they come and enjoy them as long as we can. Bro Mc and I are praying for souls to find God in your revival and that God will grant grace with all the other needs in KY.
We miss you all
Hey Sister Mac...
We love and miss you folks, too. Do me a favor. Send me an email so I can get in touch with you all. I need to contact Rita Markin, and I was wondering if you could help.
God bless...
Brother Donnie
