Please take a minute to check out our local church's new website. It is a pretty cool site, and we hope it will be well received. Please pray for our local congregation as we are very small and have had some struggles. We have good unity and good services, but we feel a strong need to grow in Christ and get involved in true evangelism-winning tyhe lost!

Also thanks for the prayers. I have not been blogging because we have been going through a lot. My mother in law, Joy, is doing pretty well, all things considered. She has advanced ovarian cancer. She has been pretty sick, and has now had her second chemotherapy treatment. She has had a lot of strenght the past couple or three weeks, but not much stamina. She has been going to church every time she can and has been out for visits with family, a little bit of Christmas shopping, and even went to the local Christmas parade with us and the girls.
Also, Brother Clarence Wilcox, my wifes grandfather, passed away on December 2, 2007. He had been a minister for well over forty years, and in fact was my pastor when I was called to preach. He taught me a lot in those early days and remained a friend right to the end. He and his dear wife have welcomed me into the family, and treated me as if I were a blood related grandson. It's ben a tough few weeks around here, but we are muddling through with the help of God. Pray for my wife and the family, especially Sister Wilcox.
God bless you all and thanks!
