Wow...It has been a slow boring week! We are missing the General Assembly for the second year in a row...well, we got there late last year, and will get only the two Saturday sessions this year. We had goten accustomed to being there for the whole thing when we were still in the full time ministry. It has been soi hard not being there to see our friends from around the world and worship together, The assembly is such a special time, and I am excited about the reports I've heard from friends who are there. It has been going great, I hear. Praise God for that! I am really looking forward to getting there Saturday. I need the fellowship and the good spirit. I can't wait to see my friends, the Odells. I haven't seen them since they moved to Alabama.
Anyway, we are leaving after we all get home tomorrow. My in-laws are riding with us, and afterwards we are all going to Gatlinburg together. That will be nice, too. One of my favorite places. (I love the mountains.) I hope the crowd there isn't totally overbearing.
