It's been a good Saturday. I got up late...very late. I am actually embarrassed to say how late. Then I made pancakes and fried some eggs for me, Marsha, and Taylor. I always make one shaped like Mickey Mouse for each of the girls. Haley stayed at her Mamaw's last night, so she didn't get to eat a Mickey today. Anyway, then I did some cleanup around the outside, got rid of some garbage, etc. It was raining, but I love the rain, so it was nice. Well, then I decided to get my new leaf blower out of the box. I thought I'd just put it together and then start it up one time, and then put it away, since it was raining and all. Well, I heard the engine hum and it was all over. I couldn't stop my self. I blew leafs for three hours in the rain. I just couldn't get enough. I love yard work so much, but this past summer between being so busy and being sick, and having back trouble, and...well, you get the picture. I just didn't spend much time in the yard last summer. it was so nice just to blow leaves, and think. I thought a lot, and talked to God. I think that may be one of my favorite things about yard work. Especially if there is a noisy gasoline engine involved. I find the noise soothing. Peaceful. Almost quiet.Anyway, it was nice. Wet, but nice. Man...
Well, then, after running to town to pick up my suit from the cleaners, I came home and breaded and fried some beef chopped steak, with some fries. I also love to cook. A good day.
In other news, Taylor has learned how to say "I love you." It is just so cute, and sweet. She also has learned where her butt is. The other day I was asking her questions like"Where's your head?" "Where's your nose?" She knows all those, so just on a whim, I asked her "Where's your butt?" She immediately raised her leg, reached behind her and grabbed her little bottom. I was a little shocked that she knew, but at any rate I found it amusing.
Well, gotta run for now.
God bless...
Donnie

Well, so . . ., what about the job situation? You left us hanging in your last post. Your audience is waiting to hear!
Leaf blowing in the rain. What must the neighbors think? Weirdo!
I, too, was wondering what your neighbors must think of the big weird-o blowing soggy leaves all over the place for hours on end... Everybody has their hobbies, I suppose. Yours is quite unique, I must say!
