Up late...too exhausted to sleep

Boy, have we been burning the candle at both ends this week, with camp next week, surgery the week after that, and currently deep in the process of purchasing our first house. Yes, that's right. Our first house!! After thirteen years of marriage, having lived in a tiny trailer, two rental houses in E'town, KY, a parsonage in Raceland, KY, and a third rental house-this one in Richmond, KY-it appears that we are finally going to be able to purchase a house of our own! Thank God! If it is His will, we will soon have our place. It has been an excruciatingly long year, and a frustrating house hunt. But, we will meet with the realtor tomorrow to make the offer, and Lord willing they will accept. If it is not His will, then we don't want it anyway. But, I feel really good about this one. A nice little brick home in Bardstown, the oldest town in Kentucky, and just a few miles from where we pastor. We have learned so much in this house hunting process....whew, have we ever. Later this week, I hope to write a blog about all we have learned from it. It has been interesting, and eye-opening. Look for that one, it should be fun.
Anyway, I better run for nmow. I am up at 1AM, and I have to get up, drive two hours, preach...well, you get the picture.Oh, and by the way...check back soon for more blogs!

I am SOOOOO looking forward to that post about the woes--I mean joys--of searching for and purchasing a house. We've been through that and I can only imagine how entertaining it will be to read about... somebody ELSE's experience, that is! Ha! So happy for you guys though. A little brick home... sounds so nice. :-)
